The Nanomaterials Application Center [NAC] at Texas State University-San Marcos is focused on the promotion of emerging technologies, the development of new concepts and products, and the acceleration of commercial development. With the emphasis on nanotechnology in developing products, the role of ensuring NANO-SAFETY becomes paramount. Consequently, the establishment of NANO-SAFETY requirements, procedures, processes, and the dissemination of this information if critical for the future deployment of products incorporating nanotechnology.
